Thank you Gord, Josie, Michelle, Erica, Kathy, Terry, and Tammy! This was my first hot air balloon shoot... Something I've always wanted to see and do. Perhaps, someday, I'll actually ride in one!

Michelle...LOL! Glad I could stir up some nostalgic thoughts.

Kathy, I was standing near Archery Field, near the Castille entrance to the park.

Terry, sorry that the 6pm launches were cancelled. :( 5 minutes of rain and some threatening clouds almost killed the hopes of this launch, too, but it ended up becoming a beautiful day. Well worth the drive, and getting up at 3:30am for!

Do you mean to say this didn't get past an EFP?! I just can't understand the judging lately! If I were you, I'd re-enter this one! It's absolutely incredible! The sky and scenery are spectacular and the colour of the balloon really adds life to this image! The depth is fabulous and the clarity and detail are outstanding! Everything is perfect! Definitely a Fave for me ... and a Big Winner in MY book!!! :) #9623091
