Six-spotted Tiger Beetle

BEAUTIFUL an amazing capture...
Ran across one of these last week after your post. It was along a Wooded trail. The Beetle was never still for more than 10-12 seconds at a time. Also now aware they are MUCH SMALLER than I'd thought.
& NOT A SINGLE USABLE CAPTURE ;0)

HAPPY SHOOTING

Thanks Jack.

Tigers are really tough to photograph!
...very skittish!
Early morning is best, when they are still a little sluggish.
And watch out for that glare off their metallic backs. You have to block the sun with your shadow and shoot quickly before they scurry back into a sunny spot.
