These double-crested cormorants are very widespread at the Celery Bog during breeding season. They are large, social, fish eating birds and congregate in the trees at the end of the day.

Oh, what a great capture, Rona! Deb's right - to see two or three - that would be amazing enough but 4 all on one branch??? That's over the top wonderful!! Superb dof, great light and details and the wonderful b/g perfectly depicts what I think the Celery Bog should look like - lushly celery green and mysterious! :) :) Instant fave! #9395253
