Re-creating natural light - bare bulb strobe #3

Uploaded: May 05, 2011 14:58:52

Description

For these I changed my white balance to "cloudy" as the "daylight" didn't seem warm enough and I didn't have any warming gels. I used a gold reflector (I only have one) at a 45 degree angle tilted up towards her from the ground. I then used a bare bulb to act as my "sunset." My son held up a small fan for some hair movement. For the backdrop, I used a small piece of blue flannel fabric. I chose not to light it as it was such a small area. My daughter was a trooper! In this particular shot, she looks like she has two sets of catch lights. I think her eyes were watering, creating two sets, though I'm not sure:)
