~TEAMWORK: SHARING THE POT!~

Uploaded: May 01, 2011 13:11:18

Description

Two workers at the Shindoni Ironworks Foundry just outside of Santa Fe, NM in the suburbs of Tesuque. On Saturdays tourists can come to the foundry witness pouring molten iron into these huge casts. The workers have to work fast and smart in what must be a dangerous environment. Teamwork seems to be the operative word in this "hot" undertaking!

Congratulations Debbie. I am surprised this did not go further as I don't know how you could shoot this interesting scene any better than you did. Love "industrial" type shots and this is a great one. #9485321

Yeah, Michael...I think this one really could have moved forward because it was very unique and by looking at some of the other ones that made it further... But then there is no point in beating oneself up when it's all about "Serendipity" or in the words of Mary Chapin Carpenter..."Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug"! Maybe it'll work in another category somewhere along the line. #9485343

Thank you, Merna. It seems that EP's are so easy to come by, but Finalists and Placed winners have become harder to obtain so it's nice when it happens. This was such a fabulous place to take photos. And we pretty much had the run of the place. Very exciting. #9523206
