Very Cool shot Usman! So glad for the explanation... was that bird asleep, because you nailed the detail and so close too! #9379523Usman M. Bajwa April 30, 2011
Karen, the ostrich pecked something from the ground in front of me, while doing this, it revealed its neck as I was standing right opposite with my camera ready. I shot through the wire mesh of its cage and the focal length was 125mm. This was the best of a few shots that I managed that day.UB. #9380734

I love the clarity of all the fine details and how beautifully the image is, translated into Black and White tones. Wonderful, Usman !! #9385881Steve M. Harrington May 26, 2011
Cool shot, Usman. I like the B&W!Katarina Mansson May 28, 2011
Superb B&W abstract! #9432271Sarah A. Christian May 28, 2011
Amazing macro! At first I thought it was a close up of feather duster. (really, but still lol). #9432280Bunny Snow May 29, 2011
I agree with Sarah. If you didn't tell us, we'd never guess. Love the repeat of design, the sharpness and clarity of the feathers, and think I'd like it in color as well as black and white. However, black and white really shows off the composition. #9433663Michele Peterson December 27, 2016
Wow, what incredible details you captured! Congratulations on this being the 101 banner choice! #11548543Mitch Spence December 28, 2016
Well, I was convinced it was the trunk and branches of an exotic tree, Usman. What it is definitely is beautiful. Congratulations on your banner feature at 101. #11548576Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
