I love the color combination and the clarity of the petal of the flower. All your entries are outstanding. Merna #1370685

Hi Merna

What does EP mean?

This flower was a crop from a group of flowers and this one was the only one in focus. Most of my flowers I have taken with little compact cameras or with the Fuji. It's hard to handhold and get a sharp picture with little cameras. Even with my Canon 500D IS if I go below 1/60 of a second I don't get them sharp at 100%. Sometimes I get good images and then when I get home I realize I didn't pay attention on my shutter speed and my pictures go to the bin. But if I had a sharpening program it could help. Thanks again for your help. #9443935

When you decide that you want close ups that come out sharp you will need to invest in a macro lens.I try to do this with my Nikkor 24-120mm lens, but they are never as good as they are with the macro 105mm.
I have started shaking more, so when I see something I like, I find a chair, if possible, and put my elbows on my knees, or if there is a fence or anything you can lean on, it really helps. When you get your new computer, it would be so helpful if you could invest in the Topaz filters. You do not need the bundle, when it comes time, I will help you with it. This is all you need to do everthing that you want. Later on if you want, you can invest in some new filters. When your on the computer, look up the following and see what you think. Topaz, NIK, ONONE, Flaming Pear. So much fun, to die for! Merna p.s. EP means "Editors Pick" you get this and then you are considered for a higher award, but must have the EP first. Hope this helps.
