Uploaded: March 28, 2011

Description

The burros have become famous now garnering the attention of most travelers through the park inside and outside of cars. Many people bring food to the park specifically for the purpose of feeding these animals. The Begging Burros inhabit one area of the park upon a hill where approximately 50 of them try to obtain any food they can. Custer State Park's roadway is blocked off by these animals to the point where a driver needs to beep his or her horn to pass and continue through the park. #1364896

They're so cute - but probably a bit of a nuisance, too! Terrific capture of the inexperienced little guy! #9322094

Nice set of shots
Funny but animals sure seem to figure things out a lot fast than we do.

Happy Shooting

Thank you very much, Tammy, Monnie and Jack! This was not a very good time for picture taking. Middle of the day, very hot and everybody was looking for shade including me..LOL.. #9322271

Thanks, Patti for you wonderful comment! These guys were very patient. If they didn't get any food from one car they didn't get mad, there was always another car coming down the road..LOL.. #9322432

We have those here too up in Redrock canyon. It's a shame they feed them here though because they get hit by cars looking for food. A cute series you got for sure though :) #9322565
