Green Rotorua

Uploaded: March 11, 2011

Description

1/60s @ f/11, ISO 250, Nikkor 70-200mm @ 95mm. (MT)
Taken outside of Lake Rotorua, NZ, at Hamurana Springs, a large area of land where crystal-clear water bubbles from springs forming a river that flows into the lake. The river itself looks green, although it is totally clear, because of the green vegetation that grows beneath the surface.

Exif: F Number: 11, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/60 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 250, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 95.00 mm, Model: NIKON D700

I haven't been to Rotorua since I was a kid, (a very long time ago) and I would love to take my kids to see the geysers and all the attractions Rotorua has to offer. This is a really beautiful image here Rona. I guess that's why NZ is known for its clean green image. #1360091
