Puppy Love

A little girl wearing a slightly anxious expression holds her puppy tightly as they cross the road. I think the puppy has the same expression.
Shot from my usual seat at the Crèma Espresso Bar, the greatest coffee shop in my home town of Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia on a brilliant and hot late summer day.
Canon EOS 40D & Canon USM 100-300mm Lens: RAW, Manual settings of f/5.6 @ 1/1000sec, 220mm, ISO 100, Servo mode, Hand held.
Lightroom 2.2 & Photoshop CS3.

THE MAKING OF 'Puppy Love':My Port Macquarie Panthers Camera Club mate Peter and I were at a loose end this Saturday so we did what we do best. Headed off to the Crèma for coffee, cake, lunch, a chat and hopefully some candid photography.
Candid subjects were a bit thin on the ground this day and it was getting close to going home time when I spotted this cute little scene approaching over the pedestrian crossing. It was all going down fairly quickly and there was a lot of pedestrian and vehicular traffic cross between us but with my camera set in continuous focus, (Servo mode), I managed to squeeze off just one shot.
