The Color Orange

This European Great Horned Owl image is a crop from a Sigma 28-135mm lens, hand-held shot taken at a Falconry center in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, on a bright, late June morning. The bird was tethered to a ground post under a 3-sided shelter. The wonderful orange eyes are characteristic of the European variety. Cropped and color adjusted slightly in PS 7.0.
