Description

This image actually started as I picture I took attempting to learn camera settings to create silhouettes, I think. Either that or it was what motivated me to read up and learn. The "cowboy", my husband Joe, and the grass were from the original image. However, it had a boring, completely featureless, blueish gray sky. There was also a smidge of color left in him, so I fixed that with levels and used paste into and a gradient to add a much more interesting sky. Decided it would be nice to add his horse, Tigo, into the image. Of course, I didn't have a nice head shot of Tigo with a bridle on and I wanted it to be Joe's actual horse I used. He's recognizable to us by silhouette alone. So, I first added the horse head, then carefully selected and pasted in the bridle parts from another image.
