Description

I wanted the foreground stems out of focus to make the eyes go through and concentrate on the central frozen stems.

I see these (without the ice) but never knew what they were called. This is a super catch! #1354937

This is just amazing work her Kate. I love the details and the back lighting to really bring the ice crystals out. Great work. #9252792

Think the idea has worked well Kate - my eyes do keep wandering to the tip lefthand corner - what do you think ? I am just being picky :-0 by the way I think you are right about my monks corrider one - I have taken your suggestion and Dianne's and am going to enter yet another version next month #9265106

Glad you found some time to comment Barbara. I guess my eyes had not wandered to that tip before but of course now they do every time!! Have to go back to your monks corridor to remind myself what I said! #9265296

Well there you go Kate !!! - I was wrong :) Huge Congratulations on this superb Finalist image. How are things ? I still have no earthquake images, but hope to get out and about soon, the city centre is still cordoned off, Anna is working away at Civil Defence HQ - putting in some long hours but dad left for home today. #9321144

Maybe if I had listened to you Barbara it could have gone further? LOL

Shame you are not managing to see too much of Anna then. At least she is not working in Japan. That's great your dad is back home. #9321355
