Shooting the Moon Description: I had my husband set up his 500mm lens and I shot the Moon an hour after twilight. He likes to shoot birds. I had been trying all week to get this shot and finally all elements cooperated. Taken with the settings identified in the lesson and with a tripod because my focal length was greater than the shutter speed. One of my friends at work researched the shiny spot on the lower left of the moon and we believe it might be the mirror implanted in "The Sea of Tranquility" for light travel measurements. Canon EOS 50D,Lens EF 500mm f/4L IS USM + 1.4x Extender, Tv 1/250, Av 8.0,ISO 100, Shooting Mode Manual, Metering Mode Evaluative Metering. Uploaded on 2/15/2011 4:37:26 PM
