Candice, this is the Lionfish we have them on the tropical north coast. Is this little fellow in a tank or do you dive. They are a beautiful fish and I'd say it's in a tank because normally you would find it on a coral reef. Good capture and you got the colours right. I like this image #299247

Thanks Paul! Yes, he's in a tank...there is a new fish store which has all saltwater tanks and fish. I know very little about fish, except they are pretty cool looking and fun to photograph!!! Sure appreciate you letting me know it's a Lionfish! Have a great evening...

This is DEFINITELY an AWESOME shot. Love the contrast between him and the blue background, as well as the contrast between him and the sand. I have a photo somewhat similair, though I think mine is a Turkeyfish, I'm not a fish expert, bugs are my thing, :P.
