Maze

Uploaded: February 11, 2011

Description

Maze of rock on Coquille Point in Bandon, Oregon . The tide line is visible on the closer rocks, while a big wave crashes against a rock pillar far into the maze. With such wide beaches and large waves, one is well advised to keep an eye toward the surf, which can rapidly travel long distances across the flat beach. Most of us “coasties” have a heightened awareness of the waves after drownings, as occurred in Yachats on February 5th. Sneaker waves have now claimed 10 people on the Oregon coast during the last 13 months. Two in Port Orford on April 23. Serious stuff… not to be taken lightly.

Nikon D700 and 20mm f/2.8D lens, tripod mounted. 5 JPG Image HDR using exposure bracketing . Unadjusted image: f/6.3, 1/250th second exposure. ISO 400

Exif: F Number: 6.3, ExposureTime: 100/24999 seconds, ISO: 400, FocalLength: 20.00 mm, Model: NIKON D700
