01/26/10, Donghu Park, Jiangmen, Guangdong, China. It's that time of year again--the Chinese call it Spring Festival, even though it seems the coldest part of the winter to me! However, it's not ever "terribly" cold in these parts, and lo and behold, when I went to our famous Donghu Park, it was decked out with the hundreds upon hundreds of potted flowers placed in their lovely designs for Chinese New Year. Chilled to the bone as I was, it was a welcome sight. But I'm sure they must do things differently further north!
