Thanks Murry! Just so you know, this wasn't some Psychedelic creation of mine.... This really is called the Chromatic Gate, which I don't really care for, and which is very difficult to photograph, especially under harsh lighting conditions... But the city built it, and they did come... #94361

I like both of these very much and keep flipping from one to the another. I love the first, I think that the second may be better but I can't figure it out right now. I love them both for different reasons. The second might be better because it is more striking at first glance. #94456

Wow, Damian! The colors are striking in either and I really agree most with Donna Rae: You should post both! I like the deepness of the color and the shadows and composition of the first, but the second just smacks you between the eyes with the color! Both are marvelous! RoB #94613

Thank you RoB! I've certainly been surprised by the response I've gotten from these two images... I hadn't even planned on posting them, let alone taking them, but I needed a couple of shots of local landmarks to use on the cover of a Financial Report I've been working on and trudged on over and took these yesterday morning before... Just goes to show, you never know....

I get the feeling the cover of the report is about the only thing anyone is going to pay attention to... but, hey, California doesn't know how to budget or have any money, so, maybe something to cheer folks up isn't so bad after all! :-) #94620
