Simple Pleasures

Description

For the SOOC PG101 Theme

Some of you will recognize this as an earlier submit some months ago but this one is straight out of the camera - no nuthin' added.

Also, I've been MIA for a while here on BP. Last New Year's Day, on a hiking trip, I took a tumble down a rocky path in a very secluded area of a state park about 100 miles from my home. Thank goodness for a GPS! We were able to find a little country hospital that confirmed two fractures of my left arm...Not a good year for tumbles for me - this is my second in 8 months - folks are beginning to call me "Calamity Val" !!!

Hope everyone has a good week - I'll be off and on BP for a while til I heal up a bit more...Take care!

I kind of think we are probably around the same age give or take, but we don't bounce off rocks as good as we once did.
My wife and I have had a few falls in the last few years and luckily we can tease and joke about our follies.
So glad you are OK Val!!!!
Gorgeous image by the way, take care!!

You are a masterful photographer, Val, and this image attests to it. As far as falling goes (what a weird twist of words), I think photographers stumble more per capita than almost any occupation. Too busy concentrating on the world around us, at the expense of our life and limbs! Glad you survived it, but it must have put a real damper on the hike! #9154804
