The Way Up Description: Three exposure combination, looking up the parclose stairs from crypt level to nave, Washington National Cathedral. I've long wanted to capture the broad spiral of the Yellin wrought iron handrail, in combination with the stairs and vaulting. After many unsuccessful attempts with regular lenses over the years, it was the 10-22 wide angle lens which allowed me to compose what I'd envisioned. Thank you to the BP community for such enthusiastic support of this image!
