Great shot Andrea! Could you share the camera setting for our learning? #1359741

Hi Andrea,

Like the winter scene/mood you captured with the viewer looking over the fence
at the dark barn.

What is the white thing extending from the barn? For me it creates a distraction. Can you crop it out?

May the Spring renw you,

Hi Lou,
That thing poking out there is another snowy barn rooftop in the background. At the time I captured this photo I believed that this added to my photo.. However when I opened your message just now & my photo popped up it was the first thing I noticed, and I do agree it is a distraction. Its amazing how much I have learned in my classes since I shot this image on Christmas Eve!! To answer your question, yes I could crop it out if I went back, found the photo, and brought it into photoshop. Do you think its worth doing? #9346865

Hi Andrea,

Good to hear from you. About my
suggestion to crop out the
distraction thing---well it is only
a suggestion. However, you ask
"do you think its worth doing?"

I would answer yes because you want
to show your best work possible for the
sake of art and sales. How long would it
take you to crop out the distraction?

Secondly, I'm fascinated by your other
gallery "ihopephotography". This is
a beautiful gallery showing multiple
images in different categories.

I was amazed at the differences between
it and the one you're presenting to our
60D club. I would recommend that you
switch and use the "ihopephotography"
as your website with the 60D club.

What does the "hope" mean to you?

And, I liked your idea of "photography
for the masses". I agree with you that each of us views reality in our own unique way. Photography helps us to
capture our version of reality.
