Church of St. Anthon on Canal Pontorosso

Uploaded: December 06, 2010 09:44:01

Description

From Piran, we took a jet boat to Trieste, Italy for the afternoon. Once, the fourth largest city of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Trieste annexed to Italy after World War I, but throughout history it has been influenced by Germanic, Latin, and Slavic cultures. Today, it remains a busy and prosperous seaport in the Mediterranean region.

With your pictures and stories behind the pictures, its like your our own gifted tourest guide. I so love the look and the colors that you bring us from a part of the world you spend so much time in. I can see why. Love how you take us up the river, boats docked on both sides, we see the gridge up ahead with heavy traffic, and the the beautiful church right in the center of it all. Love the buidings and their design, the colors, the way you let us enjoy this beauty though your gallery. Remarkable work my friend. #9084504
