Tammy, Roger, Carla, Kay and Charlene... Thank you all for your comments! The checkerboard is the courtyard of one of the barracks at The Citadel. The barracks and their courtyards are VERY interesting buildings and I plan to enter more photos from the Citadel over the next several days. Best wishes! #1722841
