Description

Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day! :)

Redo of an old shot. Whiteface Mtn summit looking at Lake Placid. The actual town of Lake Placid borders the small lake to the upper left (Mirror Lake). This seems to be a common theme for "Lake" towns in the Adirondacks.. they are named for a larger lake, but actually border a nearby smaller lake.. I have no idea why :D Other such named towns include Sarnac Lake, Indian Lake, Tupper Lake, etc. It's a bit strange :D
