It was called a "CPD" (Compu-doodler). Like a scratch pad with a metal stick attached to the side!!!
ANYWAY Here is what I read:

YES! This would fit!
"October time travel to the 19th and 20th century". So these two have been traveling all over time.
And to find their ANCESTORS?
Their ancestors had something to do with PUMPS? Or Pumpkins? Huh???
I also found a note that said:

Wm, BOY AM I GLAD TO SEE -YOU-! I knew you would be MOST HAPPY about this discovery! I wonder how much a time machine like this would be worth? Not a scratch on it either. Imagine with all the space debris etc?! Must have one heck of a wax job on it! Top grade silicone I'd guess? Your time machine looks great. WAY less conspicuous than the Orange one! WAT A RIDE WE JUST TOOK in it! WHOA! WILL MY HAIR EVER BRUSH OUT? You know, I'm not sure if I liked 2830.892347? Utopia and TOGAS? Golden birds flying? Mr. Tree would love it however! (HA!) Glad you're my right hand man on this adventure. We have all stayed safe! Thanks, Wm!
