Description

~Zilker Botanical Gardens - Austin, TX~ A groundskeeper at Zilker identitifed it only as a member of the angiosperm plant family.

Finding this little tropical beauty highlighted by the early morning sun was one of those serendipitous moments of just happening to be at the right place at the right time...AND having my camera, to boot! :) (I love when that happens!! ) :) :)

I'm sure this plant is Hidden Ginger, or Hidden Lily. It grown very well here, in the Jackson, MS area in light shade - any direct sunlight will burn the leaves. I'm envious of your photo. I must try to do better! #10402415
