October in Wisconsin
Uploaded: October 09, 2010
Taken a couple of years back.
Another view of my favorite "fishing hole" on Lake Okauchee near the Wisconsin DNR public boat launch.
With such beautiful scenery, it doesn't even matter if the fish aren't biting.

What a beautiful scene and your capture of it is outstanding, Michael! With all this color I would have a hard time putting the camera down to pick up the fishing pole. I can see why it's your favorite. I wish we had color like this here but we are mostly evergreens so the color is not great. #1316021Michael R. McKenney October 09, 2010

I love fall in Wisconsin Michael, I live in southern WI, what part of the state is this lake? #8957285Michael R. McKenney October 09, 2010
Here's a URL that has a little map and a red dot where Lake Okauchee is. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/49/WIMap-doton-Okauchee_Lake.pngI live in Milwaukee, and my wife and I fish there. It's only about 30 minutes from my house. Out Highway 16 west near Oconomowoc. Okauchee Lake is actually bigger than Lake Oconomowoc. #8957293
