The Chain Bridge in Budapest
Description: This bridge, one of the most famous landmarks of Budapest was completed in 1849 and was the first bridge to connect the metropolitan city of Pest to the historic city of Buda. At the foot of the bridge is the Gresham Palace and beyond that, St. Stephen's Basilica.
Budapest was the first stop on our journey through Eastern Europe and we found it to be an absolutely beautiful city!
