Hi Michelle,
I might not really be the one to offer critiques on a picture, especially not because most of the time I don't even know what I am doing, but I have to say while I like the idea and concept behind this image, it is not quite working for me.
Normally I am really a sucker for dual tones and partial b/w conversions, but in this case it does not quite work for me. The reason for that is, that I am automatically drawn to the splash of color, which in this case is the blue sky and not the farm, which should be your main subject. Somehow my eyes keep wandering back to the sky every time. Have you tried to convert the picture completely into b/w and then do a split toning (in ps create a layer with a gradient and then blend in color or luminosity mode) . Also maybe a little tighter crop around the farm would work wonders. I think this picture has really great potential!
I hope you don't mind that I posted some minor critique to this image.
Don't get me wrong, I love your work and think you are an amazing artist.
