This is too adorable. Is she really looking at the butterfly or did you photoshop that in? Going to my favorites. #1310911

Thanks so much Vickie! I did the butterfly in PS. I took another photo that I shot of a butterfly a few months before this and changed the color & size to make it fit. This shot of little Jillian was pretty much a great accident. It was done during a clothing change. I guess that is why you should always be prepared! lol Her mom stepped out of the room and while I was waiting for her, I popped that hat on Jillian's head prompting her to look up and give me that perfect expression. I thought a butterfly would be fit great in the shot so . . . voila! We got some wonderful photographs that day, even though my friend insisted that Jillian was extremely hard to photograph and was not sure I could get any decent shots of her. Thanks so much again for your comment and for putting this into your favorites! #8925540

Every month, with our camera in hand, we go out and find what we hope will be the “winning photo.”
Those of us that don’t get recognized, just continue to search for that special image, until one day the Congratulations come pouring in from some of the best artist and friends anyone could image.
So to the Better Photo winners for the month of September, I congratulate you on a job so well done.
My very best to all of you, Merna Nobile
