Air NZ Wingtip at Sunset
Uploaded: September 21, 2010
Taken on my way back from a recent trip to Rarotonga. I always like to take pics out of the plane, so I tried to make the best of a bad seat for that purpose.

Jane: I look forward to seeing more Rarotonga shots. (I had to look up where that is!) Did you mean to slant the clouds to the left? Interesting effect the way you have it, but a little disconcerting at first glance. I want them to be straight, but maybe that isn't what you had in mind. #8927809Jane Tweedy September 25, 2010
Only kiwis (New Zealanders) really know where Rarotonga is as I found when I told my Aussie work colleagues where I was going on holiday! The angle is purely due to my seat position, the angle of the wing etc. It looked worse trying to straighten it and like you say I think it does add some tension to the shot which adds a bit of life (and maybe thoughts of plummeting to the ground ... - kidding - Air NZ has a good safety record)! #8928736
