Hello Jeaneen.

I used photoshop to color the road. I created a 50% neutral gray layer with soft light as the blending mode and used a reddish brown brush to color the road. There is a action for this technique at www.atncentral.com. It's called "Paint with Light". #1668719

Daniel, Excellent image. I comment on very few of the images, but yours deserves kudos! I would almost like to see the roadway with all its detail not colored orange though as well. Looks like Mojave Desert.

Wow. Thank you all for your comments. Sorry I was so late to respond, my computer is being repaired and I hadn't checked my mail for the past three days. I really do appreciate the response. Unfortunately Christy I have no experience with Paint Shop Pro so I can't specifically help you. But if you go to a site like retouchpro.com or the retouching section in the dpreview.com forums I'm sure there will be plenty of people with a lot of helpful tips. Of course you can always try the betterphoto forums. PSP is quite an advanced program and their should be multiple photo tinting methods. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Hi Daniel. Im writing from Peru, its a good pic, have you removed the internal IR filter from your D70, or only used the RM72?, Which lens have you used? Congratulations! #2020660

Thanks for the comments guys. Victor, I only used the RM72 but if you have an extra camera and want to remove the internal filter it might be worth it so that you can maintain regular shutter speeds. With the internal filter in shutter speeds are usually at least 1 sec.
