Description

This image is considerably different from an earlier image of the same scene; it has a different "flavor". The inclusion of the "snag" and more woods surrounding the cottage adds a sense of the cottage being a remote get away and the composition is a more traditional approach.

Every month, with our camera in hand, we go out and find what we hope will be the “winning photo.”
Those of us that don’t get recognized, just continue to search for that special image, until one day the Congratulations come pouring in from some of the best artist and friends anyone could image.

Merna, thank you for your comments. You are so right. The search for that special image is what keeps the adrenalin flowing. It is very nice to have our work recognized and appreciation for that work fuels our desires to improve. Unfortunately few recognize the effort involved. But there is great joy in the discovery of all that is beautiful around us and that joy feeds our souls. Charles #8987464
