I love it!! Gotta love those cat expressions. If you actually find a cat that will smile for a camera, let me know. All mine look mad all the time.
I'm sure he's happier than he looks..lol. #1309134

So pleased you liked this one of my un-cooperative subject. I'll get him smiling one day!! Guess what John, he bought me one so we didn't have to share!! Thanks again=^..^= #8918339

Chris Ebben September 22, 2010

Tuxedo seems a happy enough cat, just doesn't like being the subject of the camera, a bit like me really.... #8924464

Mary K. Robison September 22, 2010

Our dearly departed Persian, Shadow, usually had the same bored and/or annoyed look as Kenny's cat.
Chris, if you have a tripod and shutter release cable, your problem is cut in half. Hold the cable in one hand and a fluffy toy or feather in the other. Get Tuxedo's attention by slowly or quickly waving the feather. Pause when his eyes are glued on the distraction, and click that cable! Good luck!
I'll add a photo for an example.

I think he wants you to go through his manager for any photos taken! HA!

Great shot that we can all relate to, Chris! :)Mary is so right. Try what she said and see what happens...or have Tony hold the toy while you click!

I had both cats in unison licking their chops after their wet food lunch today. Wish I'd had the camera ready darn it It was cute! Their heads and profiles were even aligned where they stood!

Rats, a missed opportunity!

KEN! If you are still connected, we have a cat that smiles! He has huge long fangs, (His name is FANG!), and he cant close his mouth...HA! So it's a permanent smile!

Great job, Chris!

Wonderful image and what a perfect name Tuxedo - his coat is just that Chris !! I don't think I have ever seen my siamese Poppy smile, she is getting on in years and her lovely blue eyes have faded. #8931219

Lol, Chris - Tuxedo looks pretty determined NOT to look into the camera for you!! ;o)

Our 'tuxedo' cat, Chocolate (Chocky!) will sometimes look into the camera...but if we get down to his level, or too close to him, he jumps up and comes over to us to see what we're doing!! ;o/

Your Tuxedo looks to have the same problem as our Chocky, too, in that he often only has one white eyebrow hair!! ;o/

One of Chocky's will eventually grow back...and then more than likely the one over the other eye will then fall out - lol!! ;o)

Lol at Ken's 'Happy Face' image, too - I'm SURE he's happier than he looks!! ;o) #8945436

Carolyn J. Connolly October 04, 2010

PS, Chris - congrat's on the new camera!! Tony was very kind to buy you one...and obviously didn't want to keep having to share his one either - lol!! ;o) #8945440
