Description

A country church having suffered damage in the recent Christchurch earth quake = the onlooker arrived on his super motor bike, took out his tiny compact camera, but stood for many minutes just looking !!! This image taken at Little River, an hours drive from Christchurch.

Yes, Barbara - I agree with John!! The monochromatic tones here really highlight the scene perfectly...and your title is spot-on, too!! :o)

I hope this lovely church will be able to be repaired - at least it looks as though the stained glass windows survived (or at least the ones I can see!) intact!! :o/ #8953416
