Chambers Lake...after sunset

Uploaded: September 12, 2010

Description

This is my first landscape with my new camera! Also, this is the first HDR that I processed in Photoshop CS5's new HDR Pro. I have always used Photomatix Pro. I did this shot in Photomatix Pro and CS5 to compare. CS5's HDR Pro came out much more realistic (that's how I like my HDR's) and with considerably less noise. I think I'm hooked! 3 shot HDR, 17mm at f-22, ISO 100.

Exif: F Number: 22, Exposure Bias Value: 2.00, ExposureTime: 13/10 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 17.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 7D

Every month, with our camera in hand, we go out and find what we hope will be the “winning photo.”
Those of us that don’t get recognized, just continue to search for that special image, until one day the Congratulations come pouring in from some of the best artist and friends anyone could image.
So to the Better Photo winners for the month of September, I congratulate you on a job so well done.
My very best to all of you, Merna Nobile
