Sisters - Grabber Shot

Uploaded: September 05, 2010 20:07:58

Description

This was also part of a series of shots. In this case, the first shot in the series was the best. She picked up her sister in front of me and it happened so fast, that I did not have time to bring the camera to my eye. I shot from the hip, and the first shot I got off was the best. This was taken at the Seaport in New York City. The background was very busy, so I converted the image to B&W. I cropped for composition, and did some local dodging and burning. Then did what I hope is a subtle vignette.
