They're all over TX fields this time of the year and their sunny faces turned towards the sun always make me smile as I pass by - and what a beautiful capture of them, Tommy! Such glowing light - enhances this trio's wonderful sunshine color and great detail against that dark b/g! Wonderful! #8883762

Thank you Karen, Ellen, Ron, Val, and Kim. I really appreciate the kind words. I have come to rely on my Missouri Wild Flower guide Ron. I knew these were a form of sunflower, but their are so many different varieties, the guide comes in handy. Though I'm sure even with that, I've probably on several occasions, incorrectly indentified flowers. I've only had the opportunity to shoot in the hill country once, but would love to come back and do it again Val. I love the alpine meadows, and the praire and glad flowers you find here in Missouri, but I'd say be far Texas has the best wildflower show in the country. Have a great holiday everyone, and happy shooting. :) Tommy #8884094
