very cool portrait-- reminds me of so many brilliant players, too. very much an ideal for players to seek because the warmth and glow on his face doesn't come from gold-digging and prima donna fits, but pure love of the sport... the face looks too familiar and gives me the prickles because I want to identify it.about a year ago, I stumbled across a picture on google attached to some basketball news and it startled me so much that I had to check it out because I swore it was slick watts-- it was and it wasn't. it was his son and there was second image of them playing one on one.
freaky-- like finding Bobby Orr's kid on the Rangers. Gordie Howe has a kid too, but aint nobody like Gordie Howe. some folks are just the one and only originals-- like this guy in this photo. very memorable portrait and face. You dig through your memory bank trying to identify the face because you know it's somebody you know or ought to know and you feel guilty about not recalling his name. #4019280
aperture f5.6, shutter 1/125, lens -50mm, location- Balboa Park in San Diego, CA, time of day- the sunset hour! My favorite time to shoot. The skin tones are smoother and the shadows cast long behind the subject instead of underneath their eyes!
