I found this manure shovel hanging in an old barn -- by the looks of the corner, it has gotten a lot of use.

I agree with Becky...nostalgic feel was the word that came to mind. This capture is perfect for b/w - all the textures in the wonderfully aged wood, the fine light, the tones - perfect. My grandfather had such a shed and a shovel very similar to this one for the same purpose...not a job I welcomed when I visited over the summers! :) #8818077
