Description

Stopped in to check out the gigantic art fair in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on the 1st of August, and took this before they opened up for the day. Taken on the dock where they do parasailing along with scenic flights of the area. Images captured with a tripod using a homemade panoramic nodal bracket holding the DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera vertically set at ISO 400 and f/8 using a wide-angle zoom lens (12 to 24). Entered into the “Digital Darkroom” category.

GPS: Approximate location, latitude 47° 40' 20.94" N, longitude 116° 47' 16.47" W.

Keywords: Digital Darkroom, Polar Panorama, Panorama, Landscape, and USA.

Exif: Flash: did not fire., ISO: 400, Model: DSLR

Clever idea for the Center Monthly Theme, too, Guy -- the center of my world sort of idea. This works especially well for me because of the difference between the two ends of the dock. #1294725

Nice work Guy. Your images fit together seamlessly and the tone/exposure is even throughout the panorama.
I like the way you finished the center and the looming dock buildings add great interest. #8806016
