Description

In a colorful mural on a building wall in South Omaha, this giant hand seemed to be poised to pick up the skid left there on the street.I'm on a trip this week, so I won't be able to catch up on everyone's galleries till next week.

Well, you know how I feel about Laissez and I sure don't want to jinx it again so I'll go with this wonderful capture as my favorite of your August entries. You really do have such a great eye: anyone else would have moved the crate and captured much more of the mural -- and had a photo with no impact at all. This is perfectly composed and has great interest -- all it lacks is crossed fingers LOL
Oh man, looks as if Yahoo is messing with things as I write -- had your contest entries page up and when I refreshed to finish my picks, I got your August page from a year or more ago and now I can't find your 2010 list. But I remember one of the other ones I was going to tell you I really like is the apartment balcony with the kid's car on it -- terrific textures and interest. Good luck with all of these. #8894032
