Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thanks, Ellen, Cathy and Dale. My Brother spent four years in Hanover, NH and never shot a photo so I always thought the wrong kid went to Dartmouth (New England). But of course after almost 48 years with Pat I know CU Boulder was definetly right for me and a photo of Pat along Boulder creek started it all. #85798

I love CAmden, Maine!! My brother in law resides there and is an agent for State Farm (on Rt 1...I think "Neilson Ins."is the name of his bldg)...I have to find this when I go up!! Nice shot and a super duper big congrats to you, Murry!! A fine shot indeed! #102590

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thanks, Dolores. I envy your Brother-in-law but I'm sure they get tired of all us tourists :0) I shot this on the town side of the harbor--take the street that goes by Cappys Chowder to the docks and them turn right a little ways--you're there. #102626

Robert Mann level-classic May 26, 2019

Thanks for the directions...Wow Murry congrats on your finalist selection for this wonderful image. I admire the subtleness of your PS 'buzzing'. It is extremely effective! RoB #102778

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thanks, Rob. Camden is pretty small and compact that you can walk almost every place. The exception is Camden Hills state park and this is a must to shot this harbor from above at sunrise and/or sunset. #102927

Bernard B. Travers May 26, 2019

Boy, am I sorry I missed this one. This is really, really nice Murry. The shot is excellent (no doubt before the buzzing). I like the perspective. My wife and I also like Camden, since this was a place we wanted to ultimately settle down in, if possible. We've never been there, but don't feel that matters. We've got this thing for New England, you see. Mainly Maine, mainly speaking. #108093

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thank you, Bernard. Maine would be perfect if it could be fall year round :0) This old boy doesn't miss the winter weather (from Denver) at all!! I think Maine is my favorite NE state and is very beautiful--great villages, great country sides, great water and I find most of the people to be quite charming. Eveything is so close together that one day Pat and I visited Maine, New Hamshire and Vermont--not like Texas. If you go, be sure to have a bowl of chowder at Cappys. #108098

Bernard B. Travers May 26, 2019

Gee man, how'd ya end up in Texas? I think I mentioned, some time ago, that Linda and I were in Dallas for about 2 years (4 years ago). We liked it, but had a bigger thing for San Antonio. Who doesn't, right? #108103

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

San Antonio area is probably the best spot to visit in Texas for a number of reasons but (and I say this so not many will hear) the Houston area is the bargain place to live if you can stand the summer heat and humidity. I spent the first 34 years in Denver, 7 in Houston for a job, 2 in Kansas City for a job, 21 back in Houston for a job and now retired in The Woodlands just north of Houston. Kids (2) and grandkids (5) in the Kansas City and Philadelpia areas. Pat and I are very happy here :0) #108154

Gary H. Minish level-classic May 26, 2019

I missed this one, Murry! It's a beautiful, peaceful, painted harbor scene! This is one of the best applications for 'buzz' that I've seen yet! It really works great on this scene! Very nicely shot and enhanced! #110027

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thank you, Gary. I'm on cloud nine after your nice Buzz comment and Mette even said she liked my Buzz on todays (6/6/03) post. I am the Buzz evangelist :0) #110037

Grayce Pedulla Dillon August 30, 2003

Murry, I love this location and you've captured it beautifully. Camden is a lovely town. I stayed in a cabin on the water some years ago. Can't think of the name of the place off-hand. The region is very photogenic.
I took some time and looked through your pictures, and I admire your work. Good stuff. I especially love wildflowers. I "helped" quite a few along in the Adirondacks when I lived there. #182797

Murry Grigsby August 30, 2003

Thanks, Grayce, for your nice comments and stopping by my web site. I think autumn in Maine is as close to paradise as it gets and Camden is certainly one of the highlights. #182821

Gloria Pidwerbecki July 10, 2006

Hey all~and kudos for your shot Murry! I just returned from the east coast in Canada (Nova Scotia & PEI) and have been looking for some things to do with the over 600 shots I took (curse the 2gb card! LOL).

What is all this buzz about BUZZ? I'm fairly new to PS, is it an add on? I think what you did to your shot would look great on some of the shots I have from Lunenburg, NS and North Rustico, PEI.

How is it done and where do I find it? Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions.

Again, congrats on the photo!
