Description

Is it just me or does this bug look like he has some kind of dental apparatus on his head? I found him on one of my sunflower plants.

that thing on his head is its beak. It uses it to pierce its prey, which are other insects and spiders. This may be an assassin bug. Hemiptera, Reduviidae. Its an immature, as it still has no developed wings. Great image!, but I do not agree with the title! #8769503
