Hoot's Looking at Me? Great Horned Owl

Uploaded: July 15, 2010

Description

This past weekend I got some domesticated ducks for the backyard..I've spend a lot of time just watching them and I guess I wasn't the only one watching them. How long this big guy sat above my head I don't know. A long time I bet. I finally chased him away the garden hose. I hated to do that but the ducks come first. ISO 640, S 1/640, F 5.6.

Jane- I think owls are such fasinating and beautiful birds, one that we don't get to see hardly ever. You did an incredible job with this portrait and I love the pov and the way you brought out its colors and amazingly beautiful features, especially them eyes. I just loved your story and can't say I blame you as you were just portecting the ducklings and you did'nt hurt the owl.
Beautiful work done here, love it.
Have a wonderful day and take care my friend. #8787911
