Thank you Michelle, Jeff and Stefania! And you know, I hate tonatoes! LOL I will eat them as long as they are cooked or in something else, but I will not eat raw ones. I once tried fried green tomatoes and didn't like them either. #8766073Sam Britt July 15, 2010
Great color & patterns, Carol. I love tomatoes. I grow them! I cook most of them. But I like them in salads too.You really need to try a tomato sandwich sometime - a thick juicy slice of a home-grown tomato, salt, pepper & mayo between two slices of bread. I was in my 20s before I cultivated a taste for them. Now I think they're de-lish! #8766856

Haha Sam, my hubby eats them! Probably my mom and dad too, but not me! Kind of strange how you can sometimes acquire a taste for something different. When I first moved to FL in the mid-80's, I had never heard of boiled peanuts and when I first tried them, I hated them. It was a long time before I learned to like them. And another thing is raw oysters! I started eating them fried first, then steamed, then finally I decided I loved them raw! When I wound up in TN, I missed eating oysters. A friend came to visit and brought a bushel iced down in the cooler. They tasted better that day than ever! #8766956Gary Lange August 13, 2010
