Mission Bells and a Jacaranda

Description

3-image HDR 1/125, 1/50, 1/80, F22.
Canon 17-40mm @ 40mm.
San Juan, Capistrano Mission was founded in 1775 by Father Fermin Lasuen and was named for Saint John of Capistrano, Italy. The fathers returned to San Diego 8 days later because of an attack there and they buried the bells before leaving to keep them safe, returning the following year to refound the mission.
