Description

Here is another shot of the Oxford Mill....This is the backside of the
mill, with the newer one in the background. This mill is also serving as a resturant combining old mill rustic charm and fine dining. The new mill, built in 1935, is just uphill from the old one. In 2003 was still producing several grades of flour. It is a 40' x 45' 5-story structure. The old mill was placed on the National Register of Historic places in 1982 and located in Sumner County Kansas..the largest wheat producing county in the state.

I really appreciate your kindness!! I had seen this mill listed on the National Register of historic places, and I couldn't hardly wait until I found it! As wonderful as I was hoping it would be! I mentioned that it is a resturant, when I was there it was closed of course, but hope to make it back someday and try out the food and browse through the gift shop, Also located within the mill.
