Beautiful shot, and very intriguing and interesting. The old tree, it's roots on the rock, the gnarled trunk, the green moss on the branches. What stories it could tell if only it could talk. Great composition and perspective! #1611032

My first thought? It reminded me of the tree creatures that helped win the war in "Lord of the Rings II"! :o)
This one looks like he is reaching out with both arms and somehow... lost his head and was frozen in time!
