Hey Heather! Thank you for taking a peek and complimenting my little cutie!! Hope all is well with you!! Happy day! (It's 40F here today...I don't think God has a summer planned for us...I better talk to him/her)

HI Gerda!! He's a cute little jumping spider!!! ...and very fast!! He/she cooperated while I clicked away. I know it's hard to tell but he's very tiny. I found another hours later on my deck chair last Fall. Thank you for complimenting my photo, Gerda!! I appreciate your time and kindness!

HI Kath!! He was on the stem of a plant ...and I had to look very closely as he's super tiny (that plant stalk is not very big). I like finding these little critters...some are so interesting. Thanks so much!!

HI JF!! Thank you so much!! I look at this shot and can think of many ways I could have improved it. For one, I wish I would have pulled the bottom leaf off ..it would have simplified it and made it more visually balanced I think.
Oh well..we'll see what happens to it!

I missed a lot of photos last month due to a horrendous work schedule and many of them apparently were yours! This one is great! I've never thought of a spider having a personality before, but this guy certainly seems to :-) Very cute and an exceptionally clean, sharp, very well exposed photo! Don't feel bad for missing alot of photos, Gary...I missed a lot too!! One day last month, I purchased a dSLR, THEN...I needed lenses (Sigma, Nikkor, Tokina? zoom or fixed? which focal range? teleconverter?) etc, etc, etc! then I needed a new bag to carry it all in (more research!), rechargeable battery system (more research), supplies for CCD and lens cleaning (more research!), filters, new tripod because my old tripod was no longer adequate support (more research), reputation of on-line suppliers.....and there's still more! ARrrgh! The research alone has consumed 90% of my days and if I read any more MTF lens tests I'll go blind! ...I havent' been much involved with BP either in the last month! So both of us are trying to catch up!!

I thank you for once again taking time to remark on another shot! Geez...you've given a tremendous amount to me in the last day or so. Thank you SO MUCH for your generosity!! #103390
